Fuji FinePix J110w is small good quality camera with 5x optical zoom and VGA video recording function. Weight about 148g with battery.
It was perfect for my first trial to get some video from plane. Then i had just only one plan, able to carry this camera. It was Drenalyn. It has lot of wing area, could be charged about 150g more and it is easy to do anything inside a fuselage ( it is just a carbon pipe and piece of EPS ). So i take this camera, few pieces of balsa, scalpel, glue and after 30 minutes of work camera was on board. I had to change the motor and battery to more power, due to more weight with camera. Chose Ray 2826/18 and regulator Jeti ECO 18A. But it was not enough, so i had to put there bigger one Ray 2836/10. I mount the camera into the fuselage. Because the fuselage is a thin piece of EPS, i had to put the camera longways. It means that lens view is not forward but sideward. Due the Drenalyns laterally unstability and minimal focal lenght of the camera lens, the video looks like from seesaw. But as first trial, it was very successful project.
... of course, it was not without accident :-) See the video
Next video illustrates the problem with lateral stability, it was very very weak wind.
